JACK

Jack came to
F.R.R. in October 2007, after doing his 7 days as a stray in a Pound
down south.
When he arrived at
F.R.R., we discovered that Jack was lame on his right hind leg.
The vets determined that Jack had a neurological problem, so we then
made the decision not to offer him up for adoption, and instead to keep
him in a foster home for the rest of his life.
Annette, one of
our volunteers, came to the rescue and offered Jack a place in her home,
where he became a much loved family member.
In late June 2009,
Jack's condition took a turn for the worse, and as heartbreaking as it
was for Annette and the F.R.R. team, we had to put Jack's quality of
life first.
So, on the 4th of
July 2009, we let Jack go to the Bridge, and be free of pain once more.
